My Work

I love the variety of my work. I might be crafting an email subject line or social post one minute, and developing messaging, or editing an in-depth report the next. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some incredible organisations. Here's a small selection of things I've worked on that I’ve managed to keep hold of over the years (sorry about all the PDFs).

creative content

From online listicles and engagment pieces to long-form reports and campaign leaflets… here are some of the third-sector projects I've worked on. (This image is a headline of mine from an internal staff guide to using branded social channels.)

magazine features

In my 7-8 years in magazine journalism I specialised in true-life stories, but also wrote lifestyle, health and celebrity features, and reviews. I interviewed ordinary people made extraordinary by their experiences, including a woman who fell in love with a storm-chaser and became one herself, and teen friends caught in the 2004 tsunami in Thailand. (Trigger warning: features on cancer and anorexia on this page.)

Books

I've written two middle-grade/young teen novels (published by Piccadilly Press). The first was My Best Friend's Brother (a CosmoGIRL! love story) and the second is supernatural, theatrical story The Last Act.
