I love the variety of my work. I might be crafting one line for a headline or social tool one minute, and drafting a chunky report or delivering training the next. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some incredible organisations. Here's a small selection of things I've worked on that I’ve managed to keep hold of over the years (sorry about all the PDFs).
From online listicles and engagment pieces to long-form reports and campaign leaflets… peek at some of the third-sector projects I've worked on. (This image is a headline of mine from an internal staff guide to using branded social channels.)
In my 7-8 years in magazine journalism I specialised in true-life stories, but also wrote lifestyle, health and celebrity features, and reviews. I interviewed ordinary people made extraordinary by their experiences, including a woman who fell in love with a storm-chaser and became one herself, and teen friends caught in the 2004 tsunami in Thailand.
I've written two middle-grade/young teen novels (published by Piccadilly Press). The first was My Best Friend's Brother (a CosmoGIRL! love story) and the second is supernatural, theatrical story The Last Act.
